June Stats for Residential Home Sales West Vancouver

Here are the June Stats for Detached sales in West Vancouver – they are a little late and my apologize but I had to deal with a Medical emergency in the UK.
As you can see they make pleasant reading. Not as good as 2011 but over double the number of sales for 2012 and healthy compared to previous June’s. It is also good to see that sales were happening across the board with 3 sales over $6 million and 2848 Bellevue selling for $14,800.000 – 2 million under its asking but a good price.
There was also a good sale on Crestline a new house which sold for $6.4 million $400,000 under asking but for that location was a good price.
There have also been a couple of high end private sales that do not get reported on the MLS.
Mortgages continue to be difficult to get and the buyers are predominantly Asian at the high end and investors in the 1 to 2 million dollar.
Having juts returned from the UK and seen the prices being achieved in London and with no hint of any slow down West Vancouver looks so so cheap and this is why I still believe strongly in the West Vancouver market as a great place to invest.
